WBJEE 2021 Revised Exam Date Released

 

WBJEE 2021: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has updated the WB Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE) dates, according to the most recent update. According to the new schedule, the WBJEE exam would be held in the offline format on July 17th. There will be two shifts for the exam. The first shift of the WBJEE will take place between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. for Paper 1 (Mathematics), and the second shift will take place between 2 and 4 p.m. for Paper 2. (Physics and Chemistry).

Previously, the West Bengal JEE was set to take place on July 11th. It has been rescheduled for July 17th. According to the official announcement, "in view of the COVID-19 second wave pandemic scenario and ongoing restrictions, the date of WBJEE-2021 has been rescheduled, keeping in mind the health and academic interests of the prospective applicants."

 

WBJEE 2021 Other Important Dates: The admit card for the WB Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE) will be distributed in online format on July 12th, 2021, as per the revised schedule. Candidates will be allowed to download it until the exam date, which is July 17th. The admit card can only be downloaded by individuals who have successfully registered for the exam. The date of the results has yet to be declared by the authorities. WBJEE application forms were available from February 23 to March 30, 2021.

 

WBJEE 2021: WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) is a state-level entrance exam for undergraduate Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture programs in government and self-financed colleges and universities in West Bengal.

The exam is divided into two parts: Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (English) (Physics and Chemistry). Both papers will take two hours to complete. Candidates who pass the WBJEE 2020 exam will be able to participate in the counseling phase and continue with the admissions process.

Step 1: Go to the official website of the WBJEEB and select the WBJEE admission card option.

Step 2: Enter the WBJEE registration/application number, password, and security pin that were generated during the WBJEE 2021 application form filling and submission process.

Step 3: After logging in, download the WBJEE admission card.

Step 4: Review the information on the WBJEE admit card and print it off for future reference.

WBJEE Marking Scheme 2021: The WBJEE marking scheme explains how the marks are distributed throughout the total number of questions on the WBJEE exam paper. In the WBJEE exam, there are three types of questions for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, each with its own marking scheme:

  • Only one answer option is correct in Category I.
  • Only one answer option is correct in Category-II.
  • One or more answer options are correct in Category-III.

Category 1

  • Only one option is correct, and each correct response is worth one point.
  • A wrong response will result in a -1/4 (25 percent negative) grade.
  • Any response having more than one option will be marked incorrectly and will receive a score of -1/4 (25 percent negative).

Category 2

  • Only one option is correct, and the correct response will earn you two points.
  • A wrong response will result in a -1/2 (25 percent negative) grade.
  • Any response having more than one option will be marked as wrong and will receive -1/2 (25 percent negative) marks.

Category 3

  • It's possible that one or more of the possibilities are correct. Only two (two) marks will be awarded for accurate responses.
  • Any combination of accurate and incorrect responses is considered incorrect and receives a score of 0 (zero).
  • Marks will be awarded based on the following formula: = 2 x (number of correct alternatives marked / total number of correct options).
