NIT Jalandhar: Check the last 5 years' NIRF rankings

 

From being below the top 50 in 2023, the Institute is now ranked 52. The Institute maintained its ranking of 52 in 2022, followed by 49 in 2021 and 52 in 2020.

Dr. BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, was established in 1987 and is ranked 58 in the Engineering category by the National Institutional Ranking Framework 2024. This year, the Institute earned a 51.11 in the category. Last year, NIT Jalandhar was rated 46.

 

Comparing the two, it is clear that the Institute's rankings have dropped significantly. From being below the top 50 in 2023, the Institute is now ranked 52. NIT Jalandhar maintained its ranking of 52 in 2022, followed by 49 in 2021 and 52 in 2020.

 

Later, in 2002, the Government of India designated the Institute as a National Institute of Technology (Deemed University). It is now designated as an Institute of National Importance under a Parliamentary Act from 2007.
