Together, Smartbridge and IIT Madras launch nine courses on SWAYAM Plus.

 

 

The National Credit Framework (NCRF) levels 5 and 5.5 are all aligned with these courses, giving students project-based learning opportunities and credit eligibility.

 

A variety of courses on SWAYAM Plus, an initiative of the Indian Ministry of Education, will be available at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IITM). IIT Madras has introduced nine courses in partnership with SmartBridge, a Veranda Learning company.

 

Artificial Intelligence, Applied Data Science, Backend Development (Java Spring Boot), Cyber Security Analyst, Android Application Development (with Kotlin), and Android Application Development (with Flutter) are among the courses that IIT Madras will now offer on the platforms as a result of this collaboration.

 

The National Credit Framework (NCRF) levels 5 and 5.5 are all aligned with these courses, giving students project-based learning opportunities and credit eligibility.

 

Programs in critical fields including energy, manufacturing, computer science and engineering, IT or ITES, management studies, and healthcare will be available on the SWAYAM Plus platform, run by IIT Madras.

 

With the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP), reputable industrial houses will be launching their own academies for the first time, collaborating with the UGC, renowned education departments, and recognized universities like IIT Madras. The Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmesh Pradhan, declared that all of these courses would receive accreditation.
