Women's colleges at Delhi University will offer a course on the Science of Happiness

Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Gargi College, Indraprastha Women's College, Miranda House, and Daulat Ram College are the five women's colleges where the curriculum will be presented initially.

According to an official statement released on Thursday, Delhi University has chosen to include a course on the "Science of Happiness" in the curriculum of its various programs provided in five women's colleges and varsity departments starting with the next academic session.

The Rekhi Foundation for Happiness and the university have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the course's delivery and the establishment of a Center of Excellence for Science of Happiness in the institution's five women's colleges.

The course might be made available as an elective at first. According to the statement, the government may eventually turn it into a major or minor subject. The declaration states that the foundation will create and disseminate the course content. This curriculum may be altered by Delhi University to accommodate changing student demands and credit requirements.

The most essential thing in life is happiness. Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh stated, "DU has decided to include the course on Science of Happiness in the curriculum of the programs running in its departments and colleges. DU has recognized the idea and need of science of happiness."

Delhi University will notify its colleges and they can make the required preparations to deliver the course on the Science of Happiness once the curriculum is finalized.
